Kalid and I had a day with no responsibilities from the time we dropped off the boys until the time we picked them up. Never happens!:) So we took advantage of it and went up to Rocky Mountain National Park for some hiking and aspen viewing. It was a gorgeous day! I haven't been up there since I was a kid, so it was a great day of exploring for me too! We hiked to Bierstadt Lake and then drove up to Bear Lake and walked around that lake too. About 4 miles of hiking- Kalid did great!
