Paperwork that never ends

I can't believe how much paperwork is already involved in the process just this week alone (and it's only Wednesday morning)!! It was a bit overwhelming at first but I started taking it one document at a time. We have our social worker assigned to us now too and she will come for a home visit soon. If all goes smoothly, the home study process should take about 6-8 weeks. One thing we have to get done soon is our fingerprints because those take a long time to process. Hopefully I'll get those cards in the mail today. As I'm doing the home study stuff, I'll also be working on my dossier packet that will go to the Ethiopian government. There are so many things that you have to have and so much of it needs to be notarized.
So far, I've been so impressed with the agency we chose to go with. Sylvia (the administrative assistant there) is awesome and has become my 'new BFF'- those are her words and she's a grandma- she made me laugh!:) Seriously, I have asked tons of questions- I would rather know exactly what I'm supposed to do and do it right the first time! I think I'll post some of the bible verses that really spoke to both Shane and I in regards to our decision. And truly, if you read "A Hole in Our Gospel", it will help you understand even more why we're doing what we're doing. I might say that in every post:).
