We are so excited!!! We heard today that we received an adoption grant!!! We were very surprised since they had told us they would proceed with caution since we are adopting out of birth order. Can't tell you how thankful we are to receive it- and early too! They told us they'd tell us by Feb. 20, so to hear today, we were taken off guard! What a wonderful surprise!!
No word on the 171H yet. It seems to be taking much longer than we thought after our fingerprint appointment. Maybe they really mean 75 days when they say it! Praying it comes soon so it won't be something that holds us up! Also praying for a court date this week- we're not sure if they will give out court dates while the courts are closed. If they do, great! If they don't, we'll have to wait through all of Feb. to hear anything.
We got to meet the parents of T's bffs from the orphanage yesterday! I am beyond thrilled that all 3 boys will be in Colorado and they'll be able to continue their bond once they're home. L's parents just came home from their court trip and were able to give us a glimpse into T's personality. I think he'll fit right in to this crazy house of boys!
Much to be thankful for right now- praying for our boy every day. Just wish he was home!!!
