Thought I'd do an update post about our adoption. Things are moving along nicely. Our dossier should be getting to Addis today or tomorrow at the latest. It will be able to be translated then and then we should be submitted to court. A big prayer request for us was for the USCIS to move quickly on our case so we can be sure to have our 171H before we leave for court. We already have our fingerprint appointment- got the letter today!!!! This only took about 3 weeks so that is wonderful!!! Our appt. isn't for another 2+ weeks, but at least it's moving. We're looking into whether or not we can go down early (it's a good 1 hr. 15 min. drive and we'd like to only do it the one time). We found out the courts will be closed for a lot of February, so we will be praying for a court date sometime soon after they reopen. We've been praying for our sweet T- praying for his heart as more and more people come for court and embassy and it's still not for him after so long. His 2 buddies (the other 2 boys who the auction was for) both have their court dates. So happy for the boys and for their parents!!! Praying T won't have to be there long without them though! We pray each day that he will somehow feel that he has a family- feel our love from thousands of miles away- and feel God's love as well.

Amy, there's still a good chance that you may get a court date with us. We could have had a late January court date based on their current schedule, but Mike had to have at least 30 days notice because of Air Force clearances. So, there's still a good chance that they'll all go home at approximately the same time.
