We were submitted to the embassy last Wednesday, but all of our paperwork wasn't officially done and there until Thursday. Then, the embassy only works a half day on Fridays, but this morning (at about 4:50 a.m.), we got the email saying we are CLEARED!!!!!! It was a record clearance for our agency- we are beyond thrilled!!!!! Our embassy appt. is for June 26- the same day that we met Kalid and Abuzaid 2 years ago. Seriously...... can't believe how God orchestrated all of this to make it SOOO darn obvious that Temesgen is completely 100% meant for our family. Looks like Jonah and I will be on our way on Friday morning and come home by June 30- 2 days before our sweet Temesgen's 10th birthday!!!!
We were talking yesterday about his b-day and that we would celebrate it when he got home even if it was after the fact. Abuzaid was a little confused and asked, "but who would he invite? He doesn't have any friends here.":) It'll be a family party, but hopefully he'll be seeing his friends from the orphanage soon!!!! Can't be more excited today!!!!!! We're coming sweet boy!!! Only 6 more nights to spend in an orphanage without a mom and dad to tuck you in at night!!!! LOVE YOU!!!!!
