Women's cycle of life and clean water!

I helped teach these women for 3 days- sitting under the mango trees with chickens running through.  We taught some lessons from the Women's Cycle of Life- a community health evangelism program.  We taught basic hygiene, as well as spiritual aspects such as who they are as women in God's eyes.  They loved learning about their fertility cycle and puberty and are anxious to teach the other women in their villages all about it.  It was so fun to interact with them and they were all great students!  My favorite part of each day is when they would pray- they sang and it was the most beautiful sound- made you feel like you were in heaven with angels singing around you.  I will always love these women!  Our translator, Grace, is on the far left.  She is a teacher at the school and such a sweet, sweet woman.  Thankful to know her.

Putting together the water filters and buckets.  We were able to bless 80 families with a lifetime of clean water by giving them lifetime filters- we did some clean water education and then taught them how to use the filter.  They were excited to share it with their neighbors too- awesome!

The view from the field at the school where the kids play soccer- stunning
