We got the boys' adoption decree today- yea! It was making me a little nervous that it hadn't come yet. Of course, Abuzaid's name is spelled 3 different ways in the email and it's spelled Abuzaide on the decree. They had told me it would be Abuzaid on his birth certificate so that's what's on his airline ticket. I'm really praying that if there's a difference, they won't make a big deal out of it leaving Addis or coming into the US. I've already paid once to fix the spelling when they told me the other way.
I've been debating so much on where to stay when we're there. I don't know why- it's just a debate in my head. The other families are planning on staying at the Yebsabi, but we really like the Ethiopian Guest Home (and they have a court yard to play in which makes Shane very happy). There are lots of benefits to staying there, but the only bad thing is that we're separate from the rest of our travel group. In the grand scheme of decisions, this isn't super important, but for some reason I just can't stop debating. I think it's because I know what I want to do and it's different than I imagined things to be. It'll be just fine either way though. The good news is that we're going (though not confirmed yet:)). It's been exciting to think about them being home finally. Exciting with some nervousness which I'm pretty sure is normal. Lots of rambling tonight- sorry! I'm thinking while I type I guess. Thanks for making it this far:).
