Even the little things

OK- God has shown me throughout this whole process how much He cares for even the little things. Last night was another example. We've been in the market for an upright freezer. We bought a small chest freezer last year because we felt we needed just a little extra space. Well, 2 boys turning into 4 boys is making us feel like we need more than a little extra space:). But with all the adoption expense, paying for a new one seemed like way too much right now. So I've been stalking craigslist to try to find a good one. Some were farther away than I'd like, some more expensive for what you got, some never responded to me. So yesterday, I went shopping at Sears because they had freezers 25% off. The cheapest one we could get was $330. I was thinking about it, but it didn't feel right to do. When I got home from looking there, I thought I'd look at craigslist another time. I found one on there the same size as the one I'd looked at (albeit much older) for $35! I emailed them and she called me back within an hour. She was super nice on the phone and we ended up going to their house (just 15 min. away) after dinner. We stayed and talked to them for almost an hour. A really nice Christian couple who had a ton of interest in adoption. We got along so well, came home with a super cheap freezer that should hold us for quite a while, and she even gave me a book she had read because she wanted someone else to be blessed by it. I went away from the night knowing even more how God truly cares for these little details. I had prayed about our decision to buy the freezer and He answered!!! This has been one of my favorite parts of the adoption- watching God work in so many ways- love it!
