"My boys" have found their home
OK- now that it's official at IAN, I can post it on here:). "My boys", who I have been praying for daily and who really almost had to become Fannings because I loved them so much and couldn't bear to see them on the waiting child list for 6 months, have found their forever family!!!!! Shane was so happy for them, but also probably a little relieved that I can let them go and we can not jump into another adoption:). Here's the coolest part besides the fact that they found their forever family: So a few posts back, I told you about how I had prayed at the training we spoke at that God would change at least one person's heart towards older child adoption and that there was a woman who came up to me after and told me that very thing. Well, we became friends and emailed a bit back and forth. She and her husband came to our house and got to spend time with our boys as well. So anyways- they're the ones who are adopting the boys!!!! I am in awe of how God works and how He worked in the lives of these 2 beautiful boys who will be coming to the United States to be with their forever family. Can't wait to see them when they're here! It was a huge day of excitement when we heard the news- Jonah and Landon were excited too- we've been praying so much for them and this was just beyond cool! Congrats friends- you will be blessed by those boys, I just know it!!!!

So glad to know "the boys" are in good hands. And I LOVE the story - God is AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteWe were TOTALLY prepared to bring them home - I think our SW thought we were crazy trying to bring home 3 kids at one time. ;0)
Tell your friends that West TN has fallen in love with their sons too. I think we had most of our church praying for them. What a blessing they have been to us.
Blessings,
Charity (#5 on the infant girl list)
LOL, Amy, Ryan and I were wondering if Shane wouldn't be a little relieved to learn that your boys had found their home, and it wouldn't have to be the Fanning home after all!! It's amazing to see how these boys have already touched so many people's hearts. We cannot wait to meet them and get to know them. The whole wait from signing with IAN to being ready to go on a list seemed long, but I have a feeling that the wait over the next few months is going to seem interminable. It was seeing Kalid and Abuzaid together that made us know we wanted to adopt siblings and seeing all of your boys that made us know we would really enjoy older boys and didn't need babies! (Though I still think there might be a toddler in our future!! I have already been plotting the ideal time to start Adoption #2! Ryan has requested that we complete Adoption #1 before we start plotting Adoption #2!)
ReplyDeleteThat is so wonderful!!! Those boys have been on my heart for months, and I was thrilled when I found out that they have a family!!! =)
