One of the great things about our new house in the winter is the open space behind it. In the summer, it's full of goatheads and isn't quite as awesome (though the boys love to explore back there). When it snows, it is a perfect place to sled- and I can watch them and stay warm from our house. They have been sledding maniacs lately- love the energy burning- anything that burns energy outside in the winter is wonderful (especially if I can stay warm- have I mentioned that I love to stay warm??:)).
Can you believe we're having a brown Christmas here?! My kids are dying that they can't go sledding. I'm quite o.k. with it!
