And another Friday....

Well, it's not quite Friday yet, but we won't be hearing anything tomorrow so I figured I'd write my blog post about it today instead of tomorrow (tomorrow I will have 10 kids at my house- 4 of those are my own- for a sleepover for Jonah's birthday, followed by a party in the afternoon on Saturday for Landon- birthday month is almost done:)).
So, the courts now want another document or 2 before they'll give us a court date (I really wish documents could be gathered at the same time instead of getting one and then saying, hey- let's get another one now). So these documents are in Gambella and are in existence, which is a good thing. But getting them to Addis is the new, fun hurdle. I've stopped trying to figure out when these things could happen and when we could possibly be heading over to meet our son. I've stopped jumping when the phone rings because, really, it hasn't been great news when it has rung. I do know that T is an amazing little boy. Our friends have played with him this week and that's made me very happy. I do know that God has his heart and is holding him when we can't. I do know we will make it over there eventually. I will stop waiting on pins and needles for that to happen. I think it will make my life a little easier to deal with. I have been enjoying being outside after school these last few days- the weather has been incredible and it's such a blessing to be able to get some fabulous vitamin D while reading a book and watching the boys happily play and ride bikes. Thankful for great weather during birthday parties too- kickball in the backyard- yay!!
