Another Friday

So another Friday has come and in the adoption world, Fridays are no good! Fridays mean waiting over the weekend to hear anything new. I don't so much love Fridays right now. We have been waiting since the end of January for our court date. Now, there is a reason for this wait- we were waiting on a document from Gambella (the region T is from) and that took some time. But, Monday, they got the document and submitted it to the court on Tuesday- yay! So we thought for sure we'd hear this week of a date. All of our stuff is there and has been at the court for 6 weeks. But nothing this week. It's been a rough week even when I try to say it's all in God's timing. I need to actually believe that a little more instead of just say it.
But the good news is that our great friends are over there right now and got to meet him yesterday. They said he has some mad skills on the soccer field and that made our boys very happy to know! They said he's mild mannered and a sweet boy and that he really does look like a Fanning!:) We're trying our best to get to you, sweet boy!!
I know the wait will be harder on the other side of the court trip- once we've met him and loved on him and he knows us. I'm trying to keep this all in mind. Easier said than done......
