Trying not to get my hopes up too much

I spoke with Allison (our coor. at IAN) today and she said there is a 3 year old boy named K (can't say it right now I guess) that will almost for sure be able to be referred to us next week maybe. There are 2 people on the toddler boy waiting list and she says neither of them are interested as far as she knows or the people who are working with them know. So we'd be up next and we're far enough along in the process that we can accept a referral. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but of course that's a little hard to do!:) They're waiting on his social info. and they can't do an official referral until they have that. The social info is basically where he was living before the orphanage, any info they would have on family, parents, etc... and it's a people finding mission in rural areas of Ethiopia- doesn't always go quickly, but she said they should have it by now. So it's exciting to have a name to pray for even if he ends up with a different family!
