Waiting......

I felt like I should post again, but I don't really have anything to say. It was a great week last week- 5-6 court dates set all in one day!!! Ours wasn't one of them. The government did decide that there will definitely be a 2 trip rule from here on out, but we should still be exempt from that since our case is already being petitioned for a court date. So, we wait. This week, we went to Ohio to visit Shane's family and had a great time relaxing and having the boys play with cousins. I thought it would help take my mind off the waiting, or at least that we'd get a court date while we were there. I was obsessive about having my cell phone with me always- didn't want to miss a call!! I'm praying that I will trust God's timing in this. I'm praying that I can let go of what I think the time line should look like. And, as usual, I'm praying for my boys- that they will be healthy and safe while we wait.
I am putting together a photo album for each of them that I'm sending with someone traveling at the beginning of May. I'm assuming we'll have a court date by then. It's been fun to think of the pictures we can put in it. We each took a picture of ourselves holding an index card up with our name on them- just like the boys always have to do. We took pics of Jonah and Landon sitting on their bikes, while each holding a littler bike next to them. We took pictures of their beds, the house, the backyard, and pretty much most rooms in the house. We took one of Jonah and Landon each holding a picture of one of them- I hope they can tell that by looking at the picture:). It's been fun and a good way to pass the time.
I guess I wrote a lot for not having anything to say. Please pray for a court date soon and for our sweet boys over in Ethiopia!!!!
