Changes

Hmmm.... there are some changes with the U.S. embassy investigating adoptions in Ethiopia. It looks like after your child passes court, they will investigate to be sure they truly go with the requirements as an orphan (which our boys do). This could take weeks to months it said in its press release. As it was before, the time after you pass court until the time you travel was 8 weeks- this could be longer now. I'm trying not to stress out about it, knowing that our boys will come home eventually. I'm praying that God will show to be bigger than this- I know our agency is NOT child trafficking and that makes me feel good that any investigation would show that our children were relinquished legally. But it's so hard to see their beautiful faces and want to bring them home and not really have any idea when we'll be able to do that. They're living here in our hearts already..... I'm off to a spring women's retreat at church today- I better get ready for that. I painted all day yesterday so our house is all ready for the boys!! Now I can't move very well, but the house looks good:).
