If money wasn't an issue.....

If money wasn't an issue, there are 2 more boys at the orphanage in Ethiopia that I would bring home in a heartbeat. Ever since I saw them on the waiting child list months and months ago, they just got into my heart. But, that's tens of thousands of more dollars between the agency fees and the travel (2 trips due to the new rules). That's buying another house which we can't afford to do with me staying home. That's getting another car that would fit 8. I know it sounds crazy and I don't know why I'm thinking about it so much, but I am. Right now, all I can do is pray for them and all the other kids in the world waiting for forever families. Kids who are older and who people don't get as excited about. Our agency right now has 15 kids who are waiting for families and no one on the lists currently is interested or qualified for the ages they are. There are 14 boys and 1 girl (who is older and has a brother). So, join me in praying for those kids out there who are waiting- for someone to have an open heart and the resources for them to join their family. Thank you! :)

  1. We keep talking about bringing another boy home with our little guy who is waiting for us -- we have the room -- the car but just cannot swing another adoption fee. If only....
