I got this link off of someone's blog- thought it was important to share. Too many times we don't think about this side of adoption- the side that's sad and hard to discuss. We are so very blessed and lucky to have the boys in our lives. They, though doing so well and happy to be in our family, have lost everything they ever cared about in a very short period of time. It's hard to say they're the ones who are lucky, though I've heard that before. I wouldn't consider myself lucky if I lost everything that was important to me. I know people who say it mean no malintent- I know what they're saying, but we're definitely the lucky ones- not them.
